That pretty much sums up last night for me. A friend invited me to go to a yoga class with her and I took her up on her invite. Then she told me it was Bikram yoga. This made me a little nervous but on I went, to meet her at class. 90 minutes later I felt cleansed and refreshed as well as nauseated and exhausted. It was pretty much the hardest workout I've ever done. This type of yoga involves a room that is at least 100 degrees and 26 poses that are done fairly quickly, two sets of each one. It's like cardio yoga. Crazy. I could barely drive myself home and once I got there the only thing I could do was sit on the floor and stare into space until I felt better. I want to go back though.
Today was day one of the push-up challenge. I recruited the husband to join me. He can do 25, I can do barely 1. So off we go. In six weeks we will be able to do 100 each. Awesome.
